Apply to get 2high

posted Friday, 1 Jul

Backbone Youth Arts is on the hunt for the best in emerging and established arts for this years 2high Festival.

Applications are now being accepted from musicians, performers, dancers, visual artists and every creative in between who is prepared to revel in the mess, embrace the dangerous and make this years program the most challenging to date.

The 2high Festival will abandon its former 2-day format with the program being condensed in to a 1-day event on Saturday 29th October at the Brisbane Powerhouse.

This year’s team have vowed to condense, not cutback on programmed entertainment with more performances and stages being added to the line-up.

Now in its 18th year, the 2high Festival has a long history of fostering emerging talent with past performers including the likes of The Grates, Dubmarine and Velociraptor.

Applications are only open for one month so interested creatives are urged to act fast.

Those keen to apply should head to the website and return their application with required support material to Backbone by 19th August.

Further information about the 2high Festival, Backbone Youth Arts and artist applications can also be found on the website.
