This year’s 2high Festival coordinators have been announced, with 12 emerging arts practitioners volunteering their time to build this year’s festival from the ground up.

Presented by Backbone Youth Arts and held at Brisbane Powerhouse in November, the 2010 2high Festival will showcase around 150 young and emerging artists in music, art and performance.

Involved in the last three years of 2high Festival’s 17-year run, Festival Director Alanna Hankey says the 2010 coordinators are set to build on 2009’s success.

“The team is bursting with inspiration, imagination and intelligence and I am delighted to be leading such an intuitive group of burgeoning cultural producers.

“2high Festival will achieve great things this year, and with our group of festival coordinators, we have the capacity to deliver on so many levels."

Last year’s 2high Festival welcomed over 5000 people to Brisbane Powerhouse over two days in November to interact with displays of art, live music, and performance.
