Drawing on children's love of visual fantasy, A Brush with the Real World tells a comical story about an animator and his character. The character, Rupert, is a bad tempered artist who makes demands until his creator eventually shows him the limitations of his cartoon world.
This show uses 3D motion capture technology to create a cartoon environment kids can not only watch but participate in.
This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.
A Brush with the Real World is on at the Brisbane Powerhouse July 6 & 7, 2010, as part of their Powerkidz 2010 program. For more information check out the website.
