The Australian String Quartet is currently calling for submissions from emerging composers for the National Composers’ Forum. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to have their original composition workshopped, performed and recorded by the Australian String Quartet.
The ASQ’s inaugural National Composers’ Forum was held last year at the University of Adelaide with Carl Vine as composer-in-residence. This year the event will run from 12-14 August 2011 with Matthew Hindson and James Ledger as joint composers-in-residence.

Submissions close – Monday 20 June 2011.
