After months of hard work, the 2011 Shockwave Festival team are happy to ‘flick the switch’ and announce performers, artists and workshops for this years Festival!
As in previous years, a series of workshops will be held in the lead up to, and during the festival. Alongside the workshops, the festival will feature live music, DJs, Dance performances, exhibitions from local artists and a skate competition – and all of this is FREE!
The Shockwave Festival 2011 runs from June 4th from 10.30am – 11.30pm and June 5th from 9am – 12noon. Its an exciting program that includes pre-festival workshops in Photography, Visual Art, Theatre and Event Production.
Festival Workshops include DJ ing, Hip Hop dance and spoken word, theatre, visual arts including stencil
