Big Sound 2010 Artist Showcase applications are now open!

Local, interstate and international industry will converge on Australia’s only live music precinct, The Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, for Q Music’s Big Sound Music Industry Summit and Artist Showcase 8-10 September 2010.

Australian artists will have the rare chance to perform in front of some of the international music industry’s most influential figures without leaving their home turf.

Now in it's ninth year, Big Sound has grown to become the biggest annual music event of its type in Australia. Run across three days and nights, you can meet, talk and listen to the brightest lights in the music industry as they muse on topics from the emergence of new technology to the viability of the Australian festival circuit. Then, when the lights go down, over 50 of the country’s hottest bands will showcase their music to the world in some of Brisbane’s best venues.
