Barking Gecko and Rosalie Primary School have teamed up for an exciting new education project. Over the course of five months, students have been engaged throughout the Fatty Wombat development process providing feedback along the way. The Year 7 students have been getting an in-depth behind-the-scenes view of the theatre world and developing their theatre vocabulary. Barking Gecko has made some great new friends and strengthened the youth input into their work. Fatty Wombat by Justin Cheek is about physical and mental fitness and is aimed at kids 5 – 12 years and families. Directed by Jeremy Rice it features actors Sean Walsh, Ella Heatherington and Benj D’Addario. Season September 29 to October 10 at the Subiaco Theatre Centre.
