The next generation of budding artists and photographers will have a chance to fine-tune their skills over the Christmas holidays as part of Carclew Youth Arts' Summer School Holiday program.
Mexican Throwdown, The Green Purse, Aerosol Artistry, Digital Music Production, and Animation Clay Station are just some of the fun sessions on offer as part of the popular holiday program which will run from Tuesday, January 18 to Friday, January 28.
Individual workshop-style sessions are scheduled between 10am – 4pm on each day, with some workshops offered over 2 and 3 days.
"Every school holidays we put together a fun program of activities to entertain, inspire and encourage artistic talent in young South Australians," said Leah Fort, Carclew's School Holiday Program Officer.
"We offer a range of creative workshops that are designed to appeal specifically to young people between the ages of 5 and 18.
"These holidays we're excited to introduce a number of new sessions including Abstract Jewellery Creations and Performance of Puppets. This full day workshop provides children with the opportunity to create their own abstract hand puppets and showcase them with a performance at the end of the day."
Places are going like McDonalds hotcakes on a morning after an Ashes match, so make sure not to miss out by booking your spot now, and take advantage of some of the special offers while you're at it.
