posted Wednesday, 1 Sep

The next generation of budding artists and MasterChefs will have a chance to fine-tune their skills these holidays as part of Carclew Youth Arts’ Spring school holiday program.

The Art of Cupcakes, Zumba, Claymation Nation, Darkroom Photography, and Magical Mini Gardens are just some of the fun sessions on offer as part of the popular holiday program which will run from Monday, September 27 to Thursday, October 7.

Individual workshop-style sessions are scheduled between 10am – 3pm on each day.

"Every school holidays we put together a fun program of activities to entertain, inspire and help develop artistic talent in young South Australians," said Narisha Cash, Carclew’s school holiday program officer.

"We offer a range of creative workshops that are designed to appeal specifically to young people between the ages of 5 and 18.

"These holidays we're excited to introduce a number of new sessions including Zumba and The Art of Cupcakes. This arty cooking workshop will give children the opportunity to sculpt and decorate their very own cupcake masterpieces – either to take home or just simply devour.

"Places are filling quickly though - so if you want to take part we recommend you register your interest as soon as possible."

You can view the full program on the Carclew website.
