Barking Gecko Theatre Compnay (BGTC) workshops are a fun and creative way to learn new skills, develop confidence and enhance communication skills with a focus on the performing arts.


BGTC Workshops connect participants directly to people working in the industry and provide sneak peaks into the development of work at Barking Gecko Theatre Company. They are designed to encourage creativity and imagination in a supportive environment and will run each week during school term at the Subiaco Arts Centre.


On offer his term;

Good Morning Maggie - for 3–6 years:
Unveiling a world of wonder in children's literature and nurturing a love of reading, Maggie takes children and their parents on a storytelling journey.


Acting Up - Stimulate imagination and build confidence - for 7–10 years:
Acting Up offers a step into the world of performing arts.


Skilling Up
- for 11-13 years:
Explore International and Australian scripts to further develop performing arts skills.

Acting Intensive - for 14-18 years:
Working with experienced actors, develop essential skills and knowledge of the industry.

Workshops commence on Saturday, 12th February at the Subiaco Arts Centre. Good Morning Maggie begins on Wednesday, 9th February.
