Applications are now open for 10 young critical arts reviewers for Buzzcuts Adelaide 2010. If you are between 18 and 25 and you would like to write reviews as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival, this is for you.
Buzzcuts Critical Arts Reviewers will have the chance to see the Fringe shows of their choice, write reviews and see them published on both the Buzzcuts and the Fringe Benefits websites. You will also be skilled up at a free workshop on writing critical arts reviews and be paid a $100 stipend, thanks to funding from Carclew.
During the workshop, industry professionals will tutor you in writing critical arts reviews. You will learn about (among other things) media law, defamation, fair comment and structure. You must be available to attend a two-hour training workshop on Tuesday February 9 from 6-8pm at the SA Writers’ Centre, 2nd floor, 187 Rundle Street, Adelaide.
