Are you a circus artist or creator ready to share your latest work with the world?

Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts and CIRCA are calling you (yes, you!) to apply for a grant offered as part of The Brink Creations - New. Valued at over $15 000, including a $3,000 cash contribution, this grant is your chance to premiere a new work for The Brink, a year-round program of circus.

If successful, your contemporary circus or physical theatre creation will be presented to the general public within The Brink program from Mon 31 January – Sat 5 February in the Judith Wright Centre Shopfront. You will receive invaluable producing, marketing and technical support, as well as assistance to realise future opportunities for presentation.

Applications are open to local, national and international artists, collectives and companies who have an existing new work ready to be presented for the first time.

So, if you are the creator of a show that is bold, adventurous, invigorating and, most importantly, expands the possibilities of circus, then CIRCA and co. want to hear from you!

Applications close Friday 8 October 2010. The successful applicant will be notified by Friday 29 October 2010.
