Corrugated Iron are currently seeking artists and tutors for their workshop program in 2011, including support in holiday camps, annual productions, community outreach projects, workshops and events.
Through promoting positive community perceptions of young people and the arts, Corrugated Iron aims to expose young people to the arts as audience, participants and performers. As part of the team, you will help young people develop life skills, artistic skills and confidence through an arts medium, providing an outlet for young people's voices and an opportunity for peer interaction.
The annual program includes performances and public outcomes with theatre seasons, community festivals, Snap It Up children's festival and Incubator Programs, which include a Young Adult Theatre Ensemble, Reckless Circus and Comedy Shop. Corrugated Iron also provides skills development through workshop programs, one-off workshops, outreach programs and an Indigenous Arts Program, with residencies in youth agencies, Nitestreet events and projects.
Corrugated Iron is looking for support in particular areas, such as circus and drama tutoring, general artistic direction and support, performance development, technical production and production management.
