MEDEA in Prahran

Courthouse Arts' Medea, combining Euripides' classic tale of murder and betrayal with puppets, opens in Prahran in September. In this new production directed by Johannes Scherpenhuizen, Medea's story of isolation and retribution is told through a combination of modern and traditional puppet forms. Exploring themes of power and transformation the theatre itself comes to life to tell Medea's story: her greatest victory, her greatest tragedy and the price paid for both. Opening September 27 and running to October 4 at Chapel off Chapel.
