Some of Geelong’s best young visual art talent comes together for a very special exhibition

Courthouse Arts proudly presents:
Off the Street
Seven Young Emerging Artists:

From 3 to 28 May, visual art lovers will have the opportunity to see and purchase new works from seven of Geelong’s best young emerging artists.

This is the final exhibition at the heritage listed Old Courthouse before Courthouse Arts closes for major renovations in June. When we reopen in 2011 the building will be the most exciting space in the region for the creation of music, theatre, dance and art by young people.

Off The Street is our first major showing of young Geelong artists, including; Clare Connell, Nathan Djerrkura, Jared Impiombato, Jenna Ramondo, Miranda Scherger,
Joel MacArtney and Chris Olney.

Works shown range from painting through to photography and prints. All pieces are for sale with proceeds supporting the artists in the establishment of their careers, and helping Courthouse Arts’, a not for profit organisation develop a new Visual Arts program in 2011 and beyond.

Viewing season: 3 May – 28 May

Time: 10am – 4pm Monday to Friday (no weekends)

Venue: Courthouse Arts ( Magistrates Theatre), corner of Gheringhap & Little Malop Streets, Geelong
