D'faces bring you a musical, aerosol art & secret squirrel

posted Thursday, 1 Jul

The year may be half over, but the team at D'Faces of Youth Arts have got an action packed 6 months of fun left for the rest of 2010.

First off is I said a word - the musical written by Stephen House, composed by Andrew Wilkie and directed by Susie Skinner.

One night, a beach and a dozen teenagers!
Once it starts it doesn’t stop - who’s on the outside, who’s on the inside, who’s hot and who doesn’t care?

D’faces has commissioned this original work as the centre piece of their 2010 program. With an impressive cast of 13 teenagers and two performances only - this is one show you just CAN'T miss!

(Warning: contains coarse language & drug references - suitable 13yrs+)

I said a word is on at the D'Faces Hall in Whyalla Norrie, July 23 & 24.

Other upcoming events include:

D’Cirq - September 27 -29: 3 day workshop in juggling and acrobatics with Cirkidz

Strut - October 18-22: 5 day intensive for the DBMoves Crew. One show only: October 22.

VisualisedD - 5 weekly workshops in visual art in Term 3 & 4 (call for info & to book).

Secret Squirrel - Keep your ear to the ground, a very special secret SURPRISE project is going to hit D’faces – will it be in the next school holidays? Want to be a part of it? These 3 days are so secret we can’t even tell you what, where or when – get your name on da list for this one!
