The Regional Institute of Performing Arts (RIPARTS) is a labour of love for former professional dancer, Sarah Collins. Sarah, who moved from a fifteen year professional theatre career in Europe to Cairns in the mid 1990s, established the Institute in 2002 to offer a diverse range of performing arts classes for young performers facilitated by former professionals and industry practitioners.

RIPARTS’ mission is to train strong, technically proficient all rounders for the theatre and performing arts world of the future. It is a privately run business that offers a wide range of classes in many dance styles and acting for all ages. They also provide plenty of performing opportunities for students throughout the year.
