Entries for Adelaide's premiere DJ competition, the SPIN DJ Comp, will close this Sunday 9 January!

The competition will see one local winner score the set of a lifetime at the Adelaide Fringe 2011 Opening Night in February! Not only that, but the winner, hand-picked by judges from Onion Magazine, Nova 919 and the Adelaide Fringe, will also score an interview and airtime with Nova 919 and Onion online.

Whether you are a solo DJ, duo or play alongside vocalists and instrumentalists, the SPIN DJ Competition is open to emerging and established South Australian DJs across all genres.

2010 SPIN DJ winner, DJ (Miguel) Sanchez says playing at the Adelaide Fringe Opening Night was the best experience of his career so far.

"It was a crazy feeling playing my stuff in front of thousands of people and seeing such a diverse crowd all getting down to good beats," said DJ Sanchez.

Previous winners, including DJ Well Being (2009), Carter Bros (2008) and Track Team (2007) have gone on to be featured on triple J, Ministry of Sound and BBC 1 Radio.

To crown the winner, four finalists will get to battle it out live in a SPIN OFF at Rocket Bar on Friday 28 January.
