Arts SA is now seeking expressions of interest from South Australian artists, arts companies and festivals for projects eligible for grants from two new major funding programs.

The New exhibitions fund will assist South Australian curators and visual art, craft and design practitioners to develop exhibitions that will be first presented in a major South Australian collecting or exhibiting institution. The Festivals commissioning fund will support opportunities for South Australian artists, arts groups and arts companies, across all artforms, to partner with major South Australian festivals. Download the guidelines for the Festivals commissioning fund, or visit the Arts SA website.

Both these funding programs will be offered annually and each is intended to benefit local arts community and audiences and to build cultural, social and economic capital for the State through a significant financial investment in the project.

Expressions of interest for the first round of funding are due by Friday, December 17, 2010 at 5pm.
