Got some spare time on your hands? Why not put your digits to use in one of Spare Parts Puppet Theatre’s workshops.
For the kids, SPPT will be holding two puppet-making workshops to compliment the touring season of ‘The Night Zoo’. In the morning, creativity will be unleashed as your child is lead through the process of crafting their very own animal puppet, followed by a calming performance of ‘The Night Zoo’ in the afternoon. These special workshops are available in Midland and Joondalup on Saturday 13 and Saturday 20 March respectively.
The fun isn’t only for the kids either. A few places are still left in Jiri’s famous Sicilian Marionette carving workshop. This nine-week course is open to adults of all ages and is the perfect opportunity to discover the techniques and secrets behind this unique art form from a true puppet master.
The workshops will be held at Spare Parts Puppet Theatre in Fremantle from Thursday 4 March – Thursday 29 April.
