The Seymour Centre has entered a partnership with the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras this year to present some works to coincide with the festival, running until 6 March.
Two shows, including cabaret 'On The Rocks' from The Margaritas and a crime theatre piece 'Thrill Me' can be purchased as a double-bill package so you can save when you see both productions.
The Margaritas rework songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s in a humorous mix of burlesque and cabaret. 'Thrill Me' is an award-winning Off-Broadway musical that recounts the chilling true story of legendary duo Leopold and Loeb. In 1924, the two wealthy University of Chicago students believed themselves to be Nietzschean ‘supermen’, superior to the rest of society. They forged dark plans to commit the ‘perfect crime’, but things didn’t unfold exactly as they’d planned.
