Monkey Baa announces new patrons

posted Tuesday, 28 Jul

Monkey Baa is thrilled to announce the appointment of Australian authors Morris Gleitzman, Jackie French and Susanne Gervay as the company’s inaugural patrons. Each patron has previously had one of their novels adapted by Monkey Baa and are great advocates of theatre for young people. The company says that they felt it was time to acknowledge people who have been valuable to the company’s work and championed Monkey Baa’s activities.

Monkey Baa is also currently touring Sonya Hartnett’s Thursday’s Child. During August and September the play will be performed at Parramatta Riverside Theatre, Brisbane Powerhouse and Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre among other venues.

The company is also excited announce they will to be bringing back the productions Milli, Jack and the Dancing Cat and I Am Jack. These much–loved plays will be touring from August this year.
