The Music NT & APRA Songwriter Retreats are on again, and whilst Darwin EOI's have already closed, there's still time to apply for the Alice Springs getaway.

From 10-12 December, muso types will be taking over the Ross River Resort (1 hour east of Alice Springs). Participants will have the opportunity to do what they do best - write songs - without distractions and with other talented musicians in an environment facilitated by industry professionals from each region.

Expect unique collaborations to form between musicians who previously have not had prior opportunity to work together; and post-Retreat Showcase gigs are also scheduled for Retreat artists to perform their newly-produced work to local audiences.

The Music NT APRA Songwriter Retreats are open to NT musicians in both Darwin and Alice Springs regions. Expressions of interest close 5pm, Monday November 8, 2010, and should include details of why you would like to attend the retreat; demo, links or mp3s of your work; and a bio of your background and experience.
