Now in its ninth year, the MusicOz Awards are becoming known as the alternative or ‘indie’ ARIAs.

They are now calling for entries in seventeen genres of music, as well as for the Nova Unsigned Initiative Award, the APRA Songwriter's Award, the Tony Mott Photography Award, the Garth Porter Producer Award, the People's Choice Award and the Musicoz Artist of the Year Award.

Judges include the bigwigs of the music industry and there is a prize pool of $300,000 in cash, prizes and opportunities such as recording time for winners to share.
