Jodie and Cindy join a creative, predominantly Cairns born team that comprises Suellen Maunder at the helm, marketing assistant, Jessica Masters and finance manager, Veronica Cullen who despite hailing from England claims her long term residency and parentage of two Cairns born teenage girls enough to complete an ‘all Cairns’ team.

“It is very special when you can claim to have an all-Cairns team that marries creativity and talent
with business and marketing acumen,” says Suellen. “Both Jodie and Cindy share with us a strong passion for theatre and the arts and we are thrilled to welcome them aboard.”

Jodie Savina has been appointed to the newly created position of Event, Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator.

Jodie graduated from James Cook University (JCU) with a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) in 2006.

After an internship with Events NQ, Jodie was employed by Sydney based event management company, Veritas which gave her the opportunity to manage national and international events that included with an incentive group in Queenstown, New Zealand and an International Educators Conference in Singapore.

Cindy Le Grande is JUTE Theatre’s new Junior Administrator. After leaving school in 2006, Cindy
studied photography and photographic development in Brisbane.

Established in Cairns in 1992, JUTE Theatre is a significant regional theatre company driving the
development, co-production, national and international touring of contemporary Australian plays from the regions.
