Optus Connecting Communities Grants Program

posted Saturday, 1 Aug

The Connecting Communities Grants Program is an Optus initiative that provides grants to not–for–profit community organisations to help reduce social isolation for those in need and reconnect disengaged youth.

People can submit an application on behalf of a not–for–profit organisation, and not–for–profit organisations are able to submit an application directly, for a grant of up to $5,000 to address these issues. The grant is to support programs that produce positive social outcomes and meet community needs such as new opportunities, skills and confidence, access to education, removal of barriers to empowerment, new and strong support networks, connecting disengaged young people to community life and addressing socially isolated community needs.

Application close on July 31 and details are available online at www.optus.com.au.
