On Friday 29 April 2011 Geelong Performing Arts Centre will be Short Circuited. More than sixty local dancers will electrify audiences with their talent, technique and energy. Short Circuit Dance is the first in four Short Circuit Meets over 2011, emanating from a four-year strong history in supporting emerging artists of Geelong.

Courthouse Arts invites people of all ages to check out the dance moves, to be inspired by the dance grooves, and to set up networks for new cutting-edge creative alliances.

Short Circuit Dance is the first instalment of the Short Circuit series that will run throughout 2011.

The schedule of events starts with Short Circuit Music, June 24, then the Short Circuit Theatre, October 21. and the Short Circuit Showcase 2011 on December 2. If you want to join any of the Short Circuit events, please contact Georgina Capper, curator of the Short Circuit series, via email
