Actors, performers and storytellers from migrant/refugee backgrounds are needed for a community drama project, Live Stories, in the Brisbane South/Logan area.
Live stories will involve workshops in schools and community centres, and an educational performance for young people. The project aims to encourage intercultural harmony in the Brisbane South/Logan region.
Participants, who will be paid, must be from a migrant/refugee background, passionate about sharing stories, committed and reliable, able to work in a team and available to work during school hours and some evenings. The project will require 80 hours total from June to December 2010.
Experience is preferred, but not essential. An audition workshop is being held in Woodridge on Saturday 19th June, 10am- 1pm.
For more information, or to book your place at the audition, please contact Clark Crystal, project coordinator on 0439 007 676, or via email.
