Tantrum Theatre: The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other

posted Sunday, 1 Nov

This November, Newcastle’s Tantrum Theatre will present a spectacular visual feast in Wheeler Place. The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other is sure to dazzle audiences as over sixty Tantrum performers collaborate in this exciting and fun-filled performance.

Tantrum will take this original play, written by acclaimed European playwright Peter Handke, to new heights. Never before seen in Newcastle, The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other, which was written for the stage, will be performed for the very first time outside.

This highly physical play features no dialogue, only sheer action and entertainment, as over sixty performers from the Tantrum company come together to create over four hundred and fifty characters.

The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other plays at Wheeler Place (Civic Precinct Newcastle) on Thursday 26 to Saturday 28 November 2009, at 8pm. For more information visit www.tantrumtheatre.org.au.
