The Jazz Hand Project, Brisbane's newest arts collective, will this month present their first event, a free public dance performance, Tether.
An abstract dance piece, Tether explores the intangible forces that connect us as humans. Be immersed in a dreamlike landscape and watch the dancers navigate through coils of red tether, as they explore what binds them together.
Tether brings together five young emerging dance artists – Anja Ali-Haapala, Erin Coates, Samantha Hunt and Kellie Rose McNamara, with choreography by Mimi Van Buuren. This project has been produced by Patric Lilleboe and is supported by Brisbane City Council.
Tether (free public dance performance)
