Mark Trenwith brings his high energy, somewhat ridiculous stand up to the Rhino Room this Adelaide Fringe with ‘Fun.’

After becoming bored with the things in life that used to bring him joy, Trenwith decided to have more ‘fun.’

“So much comedy is based around insult, cynicism or some political agenda,”
exclaims Trenwith. “In a world that can quickly bring us down, this show is meant to just be just an hour of pure, adrenalin pumping, silly fun. It’s comedy for comedy’s sake!”

Trenwith has been gaining a reputation for leaving his audiences glowing and as one critic put it ‘a buzz for hours’ (Steve Jones dB Magazine) with his positively charged stand up and high-impact video sketches.

“I really like to color my show with technology,’ adds Trenwith, “I find it creates a sense of rapture in an audience – which is what I really aim for in my shows. That shared moment of exhilarating silliness is why I do comedy.”

With TV credits behind him (ABC TV’s ‘Being Me’) and a successful stint at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009, Trenwith is certainly becoming one to watch.
