This powerful new verbatim theatre work tells the true story of Toowoomba teenager Kristjan Terauds who died due to complications from illicit drug use. Using the words of Kristjan’s friends and family interviewed over many months, and inspired by the journal of Kristjan’s father, playwright David Burton has dramatised a thought provoking story of love, loss and sadness, with touching humour.

Burton explains the power and relevance of this story for young people and their families: “This happened in this town [Toowoomba] with a school that you know about with a family that could be anyone’s family. It could happen to you”

Cr John McVeigh (toowoombanews.com.au,2010) asks, “Is there a way we could expose every Year 11 and year 12 student to this play?” Well, Lowdown Magazine Online is proud to do its bit to help make this happen.  Send us an email now!

Suitable for families and 15 years and over.
