Young Artist's and Career Pathways Info Session

posted Tuesday, 1 Feb

Carclew Youth Arts invites artists 26 years and under to an evening of fun and frivolity (and a little bit of networking).

Carclew can provide young emerging artists with the tools they need to start their career, with advice and assistance on the application process for Project & Development Grants.

On the evening, artists will share their top tips on funding opportunities, how they got started in the arts and how they have maintained their passion. Guest speakers include a JUMP 2010 Mentee, Scholarship and Grant recipients.

There will also be an intimate showing of artists’ work for one night only – multi-media, visual art, song, DIY-zines, community arts and more.

Light refreshments and mingling opportunities will be provided to whet the appetite.

This session is for those interested in knowing more about Project & Development Grants offered by Carclew Youth Arts; artists; students and school leavers interested in a career in the arts that want to know more, more, MORE...

If you need a kick in the rear to get your career started, then this Young Artist’s and Career Pathways information session is your ticket to success! Make your way to the Ballroom at Carclew Youth Arts (11 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide) on Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 5-7.30pm.

Bookings are essential and can be made through the Carclew office on (08) 8267 5111.
