Term 3 heralds the return of arts2GO's favourite rockers, OzRockStar, who will be touring schools across Victoria between 24 August and 4 September. A popular show in 2008, Rock Kids is back to rock the socks off primary students large and small.
Rock Kids is an interactive performance that explains the history, technique and style of modern music all within the format of a rock gig!
What's a guitar for? What's the difference between rock and reggae? Why do you need a bass player? All of these questions and more are explored using popular rock songs by artists including Pink, Suzie Quatro, Greenday, Queen and AC/DC.
Rock Kids is a performance that ticks all the boxes, including the fun ones! It thrilled audiences in 2008 and is set to do it all again this year. Best of luck OzRockStar…or should we say rock on!
