Circus Oz has public classes for kids, teens and adults running from late September until mid-December 2010, so we too can experience the thrill of being a circus performer.
No matter what your skill level, if you like to get fit and have fun and like to do it a bit differently, then this is the pursuit for you! Circus Oz Spring Holiday and Term 4 classes will allow participants to get bendy, get airborne, get upside down and get happy for the final time in 2010, the 21st birthday year of Circus Oz public
classes.
Circus Oz Training coordinator Tara Sanders said,
“We have a great Spring Holiday Program lined up, including a brand new Aerial Ring class, which is kind of a cross between trapeze and spinning web. It is suitable for beginners to
intermediate”.
During the spring holidays, Circus Oz is also offering Circus Allsorts, which is the class you do when you can?t decide which circus skill to choose! Or it might be the perfect gift for someone. It covers a range of skill areas, such as, juggling, tumbling, unicycle and acro-balance.
The classes for Kids and Teens run for ten consecutive weeks on Saturdays and range from ?Introduction to Circus?, a great way to get a taste of the circus, right through to ? For the Fanatics!?, a focused approach for those committed to advancing their aerial and acrobatic skills.
All trainers are professionals with extensive industry experience, giving safety the highest priority.
And for adults? Classes in Aerial skills, Tumbling & Acrobalance, Flexibility & Contortion and much more run from late-September to mid-December on weekday evenings. Another new offering for those really serious about developing aerial skills, is the Aerial Conditioning class where people can do more than one aerial class each week to speed up progress but not bust the bank!
The adult classes run at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, so participants can slot in wherever they feel most comfortable.
All public circus classes are held at Circus Oz?s home in Port Melbourne.
