In 2010 UK artist Amber Onat Gregory, approached Barking Gecko Theatre Company, seeking to share her knowledge of sensory theatre - a unique form of theatre which engages young people with disabilities through the senses (i.e. sight, sound, smell, touch and taste).

Under the umbrella of Barking Gecko, an ensemble of artists have now formed, including Amber Onat Gregory, Francis Italiano, Rebecca Bradley, and Michelle Hovane.

This April they are inviting artists to attend a series of skill sharing workshops at no cost. The aim of the workshops is to give WA artists access to this unique art form and establish a sensory theatre practise in WA.
