Term 2 Workshop enrolments are now open at Barking Gecko Theatre Company! The Workshop program is for children and young people aged between 3 and 18 years.

BGTC Workshops are designed to nurture the skills of children and young people with a passion for performing arts and unlock their imagination and creativity.

Each week during school term, budding artists will work with industry trained tutors and guest industry practitioners to accelerate their learning in all areas of the performing arts.

BGTC Workshops take young people on a creative journey. They are fun and a great way to learn new skills, develop confidence and enhance communication skills.

There are four workshops available;
• Good Morning Maggie for 3 – 6 years – An introduction to the world of children’s literature for young children.
• Acting Up: 7 – 10 years – Stimulate imagination and build confidence – a great step into the world of performing arts.
• Skilling Up: 11 – 13 years – Explore International and Australian scripts to further develop performing arts skills.
• Acting Intensive: 14 – 18 years – Work with experienced actors to develop essential skills and knowledge of the industry.

Term 2 Workshops commence on Saturday, 7th May at the Subiaco Arts Centre.

Good Morning Maggie storytelling workshops, for 3 – 6 year olds, begin on Wednesday, 4th May.
