Guerrilla Tactics 2009
News Flash! “Under the cover of darkness a group of new age storm troopers engaged in a series of night time “guerrilla art” raids on public buildings, structures and at public events. These nighttime spectacles were very unexpected and in your face, designed to provoke thought and ongoing discussion by those who became the unsuspecting victims.
During National Youth Week 2009, D’faces senior members teamed up with multi media artist Cindi Drennan and D’faces Artistic Director Susie Skinner to create Guerrilla Tactics. The resulting attacks were visually exciting and thought provoking; creating a flash of moment-to-moment expression but nothing to take home and put on the mantle piece. The Blue Light Disco performance was captured on film.
