When Aleksander journeys to the hallowed city of
Robotika he is captivated by the technological marvels of the Steam Age. Lured by the promise of a life of leisure, the people have been liberated from work by the box-headed Industrials.
Alone in his fortune, Alek's curiousity leads him to Daisy, an industrial who seems somehow different to the rest. But this friendship threatens his Aunt Lychkova's vision for Robotika where Humans and Industrials remain segregated. Fiercely defending the ideals of her Utopia, Lychkova compels Alek to understand.
But all is not as it seems.
As Alek's friendship with Daisy blossoms he begins to follow his heart. Why is their friendship forbidden?
In attempt to flee Alek and Daisy find themselves searching deeper and deeper into the unravelling heart of Robotika.
Join Drop Bear Theatre for this original steam-punk adventure where childhood curiousity and friendship prevail in a troubling world. On stage, history is fused with futuristic fantasy to explore issues of trust, racism, globalization and humanity.

The Magic Hat is based on the book by Mem Fox and devised by Drop Bear Theatre.
Follow the surprising journey of a magic hat as it flies through your imagination changing dullardry into delight. See Mem Fox's lyrical text told and retold through shadow puppetry, song, rhythm and movement by three blundering wizards.
You have to believe it to see it as the stage action transforms into a cacophony of unruly animals, tamed only by the gentle voice of your child's own magic wand.

Harriet’s Nuts has been the heart of the main street of Littletown for many years, and owner Harriet has a reputation for being the nicest girl around. Whether it is selling pistachios to Mr Clark, or walnuts to Bessie C, or even honey coated cashews to Peter, the verdict is unanimous: 'You are so nice Harriet! The nicest girl in town.' But when a rival nut shop opens next door to Harriet, Harriet feels herself becoming angry. Gathering her peanut army, and creating armour from nutshells, Harriet prepares for war...
Angry Harriet deals with that most tricky emotion, anger, and how to use it in a positive way to create change. Created by the team who brought you Diabolica Jones and The Magic Hat in 2010 this show is not to be missed!
'Anger is a great force. If you control it, it can be transmuted into a power which can move the whole world.' - William Shenstone
