B’Tutta

Term 2 - Term 4

Highly-trained, professional musicians will inspire your students through interaction and performance of music with B’Tutta.

The program is a unique blend of practical teaching resources, in-servicing for teachers and live performance from B’Tutta – all linked to creative arts and other syllabuses in each state and territory.
B’tutta (‘Bah-too-tah’) is a NSW based percussion quartet. The name comes from the Italian word meaning to strike – an action, which is an essential part of being a percussionist. The group has been asked many times what style of music they play and their answer is: “anything with percussion in it”. It is their passion for all things percussive and original music composed by Australians that brings them together. All the members have written or collaborated to produce new pieces for the group. B’tutta, with their years of performing experience, brings an eagerness for educating into their concerts and have been performing for Musica Viva In Schools since 1995.
