Coopers Alive 2010

Coopers Alive is back for a third year this October, taking over eight venues across two weekends and featuring 28 of the best original South Australian bands.

This year's line-up includes:

The artists participate in a series of workshops provided by Music SA, focusing on the creating and facilitating successful live events. Each show is provided with a marketing and production budget courtesy of Coopers Brewery and The Australian Business Arts Foundation, which the artists use to create unique, one-off shows. Previously, bands have incorporated live audio and video recordings, concert lighting and video projections, guest DJs, street art, and even themed party nights.

“We have hand picked what we believe are some of the best emerging and established bands in SA, covering Acoustic/Roots, Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Groove, Post Rock, World Music and Metal," said Music SA's Gordon Andersen.

"We believe that Coopers Alive proudly represents the quality and eclectic variety of music that's brewing here in SA's own back yard.”

Coopers Alive 2010 will be held on October 15, 16, 22 and 23 at the Crown & Sceptre Hotel, Ed Castle Hotel, Fowlers Live, Jade Monkey, Jive, Promethean, Adelaide UniBar and the Wheatsheaf Hotel.
