Imaginary Theatre’s experience presenting theatre to this age group was apparent from the outset.

The much-loved and awarded Tashi stories by Anna and Barbara Feinberg have been a huge hit for Imaginary Theatre over the past few years. Their latest offering, currently touring the country, twins the stories of Tashi and the Swan and the Dragon with Tashi and the Big Stinker, and is sure win the company more fans.

As many younger children and their parents will already know, Tashi is a little boy from a place far away who has come to his adopted country of Australia with a head full of stories about his adventures in his homeland. These consist of a delightful combination of some strangely familiar myths with imaginary embellishment typical of children in the five to ten-year-old age bracket, which is also the demographic the shows are pitched at.
